Installation ey Instructions CERAMIX kaeraan KITCHEN FAUCETS HI FLOW SPOUT Thank you for selecting American Standard the benchmark of fine quality for over 100 years To ensure that your installation proceeds smoothly please read these instructions carefully before you begin Certified to comply with ASME A112 18 1M M66241 REV 1 1 TOOLS REQUIRED ITA Channel Locks Adjustable Wrench Phillips Screwdriver 1 FAUCET INSTALLATION CAUTION Turn off hot and cold water supplies before beginning Remove VALVE NIPPLE 1 SEAL WASHER 2 LOCKNUT 3 This faucet permits an interchangeable mounting of d STUD tS cf velva rom each integral all ele spout valve and hand spray to suit the particular installation requirements Before starting installation ee each component loosely into the holes of the kitchen sink to select the most desirable arrangement ROUGHING IN DIMENSIONS Insert supply TUBES 6 and threaded STUD 5 through hole in sink Make sure black RUBBER RING 7 is properly seated in recess of base Orient valve so that threaded STUD 5 is centrally located towards the rear of sink then assemble MOUNTING ASSEMBLY 4 and thread LOCKNUT 3 onto STUD 5 from underside of sink i Hand tighten LOCKNUT 3 and check Sais aya MINA that rotation of HANDLE 8 from HOT MTG HOLE to COLD is centered Secure valve osition by tightening LOCKNUT 3 T SURFACE
4. ee and can move up and down D Push the SPOUT SUB ASSEMBLY 3 on to the SPOUT BASE 4 ni and tighten the SPOUT NUT 5 until snug on SPOUT BASE 4 i Place SPRAY HOLDER 6 into the appropriate mounting hole assemble WING NUT 7 onto shank of SPRAY HOLDER 6 from underside of sink and secure by tighting WING NUT 7 Feed SPRAY HOSE 8 through SPRAY HOLDER 6 and attach COUPLING NUT 9 of SPRAY HOSE 8 to HOSE ADAPTER 10 Tighten COUPLING NUT firmly 9 Make certain that SPACER WASHER 11 and RUBBER WASHER 12 are attached to SPRAY HOSE 8 and thread SPRAY HEAD 13 to NUT 14 Tighten NUT 14 firmly 5 SUPPLY CONNECTIONS E Bend 3 8 SUPPLY TUBES to meet water supplies valves Use palm of hand to support TUBES while bending to avoid kinking m Connect inlet TUBES to water supplies with appropriate connectors Connect left TUBE to HOT water supply and the right TUBE to the COLD water supply Note If additional supply length is required installer must purchase additional parts separately COMPRESSION NUT 3 8 O D SUPPLIES FERRULE M66241 REV 1 2 TEST INSTALLED FITTING With HANDLE 1 in OFF position turn on WATER SUPPLIES 2 and check all connections for leaks Remove AERATOR 3 Operate HANDLE 1 up and down in COLD and HOT positions to flush water lines thoroughly Direct SPRAY HEAD 4 into sink Open faucet and activate spray Check SPRAY HOSE 5 connections for leaks Re
