INTERNATIONAL INC Directions for Replacing AeroGarden Pump Grow Surface Tools Needed e Flat head screwdriver e Phillips head screwdriver e Needle nose pliers Removing Old Pump Unplug AeroGarden Remove the Bowl from the Base Do not empty the water Remove the Grow Surface from the Bowl and place on a counter covered by a towel your roots will be dripping with water Hint Lift the View Door and slide one hand into the Bowl to lift Don t worry if you gently tear some roots Gently remove each plant from its Grow Surface Opening and place the plants upright in the Bowl so that the roots are in the water Hint Note where the plants were positioned on the Grow Surface O Turn the Grow Surface upside down on the towel with the back of the Pump Tower facing you see top right photo Take out Pump Filter rinse it no soap and set it aside Grow Surface Opening Filter View Door Remove the Pump Connector Screw in the Pump Connector using a Phillips head screwdriver Pull up on Pump Connector to disconnect it from the bottom of the Grow Surface F lt Remove Pump Cover Plate insert flat head screwdriver into each of the 3 rectangular slots and turn screwdriver 90 to help pry out the cover plate It is okay to use force Upside Down Grow Surface Pump Cover Plate Wire Slot lt lt Pump Connector Wire i Pu2. mp Connector Screw Pump Connector Remove the Pump by inserting the flat head screwdriver into the space under the pump Push down on the handle of the screwdriver to lift the Pump out of the Pump Tower Pull wire out of Wire Slot Discard old Pump in trash Remove part A with needle nose pliers and discard in trash Directions continued on back Installing New Pump Connector Screw Adjust Pump Dial to the 2 o clock position Replace and screw in the Connector Screw 2 clicks so it is hand tight no power tools please Filter Insert the new Pump into the Pump Tower D Place Pump Filter back into slot making sure that a The rubber feet of the Pump are facing up b The Pump Connector Wire goes behind 18 Place Grow Surface upright on towel and and underneath the Pump gently replace plants back into their original c Pump Cover Plate is snapped back onto positions on the Grow Surface top of Pump 19 Place Grow Surface back into bowl and replace bowl on the Base Press down firmly on the Grow Surface Congratulations You have replaced your gt cae p Wire Slot S a AeroGarden Pump Contact C p bn saa Plug the Pump Connector into the Grow Surface so that the Metal Contacts face up and out and the Connector Wire is inside the Wire Slot If you have any questions please feel free to contact Customer Service 1 800 GROW NOW 1 800 476 9669 or email info aerogr
