9. g B amp C Place the tool on a table with the planing base 5 pointing towards you Rotate the cylinder 10 until the first cutter is visible Loosen the screws 11 a few turns into the direction as shown Loosen the bolts 12 a few turns into the direction as shown Keep the screening 13 pressed and remove the holder 14 with the cutter from the cylinder into the direction as shown E E a a a Co a E E E E N Copyright 2014 VARO Page 4 www varo com BUS POWX111 EN Disassemble the parts of the holder 15 amp 16 so that the cutter 17 conies loose The cutter has two cutting edges When both cutting edges are worn the cutter must be replaced Turn the cutter so that the new cutting edge is facing upwards or take a new cuiter Place the cutter between the pals of the holder Keep the screening pressed and place the holder with the cutter in the cylinder Re adjust the cutter Fix the cutter by fastening the bolls opposed to the direction as shown To replace the other cutter rotate the cylinder 180 and repeal the steps described above Always unplug the tool before replacing the cutters 7 2 Adjusting a cutter fig D Set the planing depth to 0 Turn the screws 11 In or out to determine the correct adjustment The cutter 17 i5 properly adjusted when the cutting edge 18 touches the surface of the work piece 7 3 Setting the planing depth fig A Turn the adjustment knob 3 until the
