1. Introduction Congratulations on your choice of the Jamo ROCK 6 3Aspeaker The idea behind the ROCK 6 3A was to make a natural sounding weatherproof speaker that blends in with your landscaping The dual input allows you great flex ibility in placement and connection Read the instructions carefully for placement and connections to obtain the best sound and the most enjoyment from your investment Construction Enclosure The natural looking ROCK 6 3A is constructed of fiberglass to withstand the out door weather and the grills are made of aluminum to prevent rusting Any water entering the grill will drain out of the small grill below the main grill Tweeters The high frequencies are reproduced by two 2 Pei Dome tweeters one for each input Woofer The 62 Poly Propolene woofer that reproduces the low frequencies has two voice coils one for each input Port A bass reflex port is incorporated in the rear of the ROCK 6 3A to generate extra bass essential in your outdoor application Placing The further the ROCK 6 34 s are away from your listening area the louder they must be played to obtain the desired level at your listening area Therefore place the ROCK 6 3A s at a location where you can enjoy them without disturbing your neigh bors If stereo imaging is desired the distance between two ROCK 6 3A s should be less than the distance from the listening position to the ROCK 6 3A s Do not place close to sprinkl2. ers as the high water pressure may damage the ROCK 6 3A s Connection The ROCK 6 3A is provided with a 4 conductor cable to be able to connect either 1 or 2 channels One input uses RED for positive and BLACK for negative the other uses GREEN for positive and WHITE for negative When connecting only 1 channel to the ROCK 6 3A the RED and GREEN must be connected together for positive and BLACK and WHITE together for negative Positive s and negative s on the ROCK 6 3A must be connected to positive s and negative s respectively on your receiver amplifier for correct phasing IMPORTANT Each input on the ROCK 6 3A is 8 ohm When joining the inputs for 1 channel con nection as previously described and shown below the ROCK 6 3A is 4 ohm Make sure your receiver amplifier can accept a 4 ohm speaker which most can 1 Channel Black f Ar White Sm Red Green 2 Channels m e a Black ng Red White Green Maintenance and Care Black Green Channel 1 Channel 1 Channel 2 It is important to keep the ROCK 6 3A clean to avoid insects nesting in the grill Rinsing with low water pressure from a garden hose will do the job Avoid using chemicals on or around the ROCK 6 3A Be sure to cover it when ap plying fertilizer or other chemicals such as bug spray and deck sealants Specifications Woofer 62 Poly Propolene X over Tweeter 2x12 Pei Dome Dimensions Power long te
