1. Shaver Light Installation Instructions issue 217 5702 Please read these instructions carefully before commencing work Warning Ensure that the electrical supply is disconnected at the fuse board This is a Class 2 product and must not be earthed This product is not suitable for mounting on a normally combustible material eg wood or polystyrene tiles 4 2 3 If removing an existing fitting note all the connections and which wires are connected to the light fitting Identify where supply cables are before drilling holes to avoid damage when drilling the fixing holes Having unpacked the product remove the 2 screws from the glass cover and lift off Feed the supply cable through the cable entry hole in the plastic back plate then connect the supply cable as follows Connect the live supply cable normally red to the terminal marked L Connect the neutral supply cable normally black to the terminal marked N Check that all the connections are secure and that no bare wires are showing When mounting the fitting use the fixings provided or ensure that suitable fixings are used to support the weight of the product When fixing the light ensure that no wires are trapped or crushed behind the fitting Fit the bulb not supplied 2 x 40w SES candle maximum then re fit the glass cover Do not overtighten the screws If you experience any problems please consult a qualified electrician Feed supply cable through the hole in the2. back plate
