4. itch in ON I position Set to Auto On I PAPER JAM gt 1 2 Pus O R O R Set to Off 0 and unplug Set to Reverse R for 2 3 seconds Alternate slowly back and forth PRODUCT MAINTENANCE OILING SHREDDER All cross cut shredders require oil for peak performance If not oiled a machine may experience diminished sheet capacity intrusive noise when shredding and could ultimately stop running To avoid these problems we recommend you oil your shredder each time you empty your waste bin or Feed paper straight Feed into card CD entry When finished shredding into paper entry and release set to OFF 0 and release Shredder doesn t start Make sure head is on basket correctly Wait 30 minutes for motor to cool down Remove and empty basket Gently pull uncut Set to Auto On paper from paper I and resume entry Plug in shredding CLEANING AUTO START INFRARED SENSORS Paper detection sensors are designed for maintenance free operation However on rare occasions the sensors may become blocked by paper dust causing the motor to run even if there is no paper present Note two paper detection sensors are located in the center of the paper entry FOLLOW OILING PROCEDURE BELOW AND REPEAT TWICE TO CLEAN THE SENSORS 3 1 3 Set to Off 0 Apply oil Set to Reverse R Turn off and unplug Locate Auto start Dip cotton swab in Using cotton swab wipe across entry 2 3 seconds sh
