INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ror SWR ALL DOORS AND ACCESSORIES THAT REQUIRE GROUNDING MUST HAVE GROUND WIRES FIELD INSTALLED ALL PARTS ARE PRVIDED NOTE ALL DOORS AND ACCESSORIES MUST BE GROUNDED FOR UL COMPLIANCE CAUTION TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY AND CONFORM TO THE UL LISTING THESE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED All Raxxess SWR racks are EIA Compliant and provide up to 300 Ibs Wood Stud Wall Installation Block Wall Installation Use 3 16 pilot hole on stud center Use 3 8 toggle bolts and washers Use 5 16 lag bolts and washers Install bolts in top and bottom corners Customer supplied for maximum support Customer supplied Door Grounding The door ground stud is located next to the bottom hinge pivot pin Using the ground wire and kep nut provided attach one end of the ground wire to the door grounding stud and the other end to the base ground stud located on the inside bottom corner of the rack Refer to pictures below Rail Grounding Using the ground wire kep nut and bolt provided attach one end of the ground wire to teh bottom rail hole and the other end of the ground wire to the base ground stud which is located on the inside bottom corner of the rack Refer to pictures below Leveling All SWR rack must be mounted plumb and level Wire Entry Numerous knock outs are provided for wire entry All knock outs that are used for wires without conduit must have bushings inse2. ryed in the knock out to eliminate damage to the cable s insulation Thermal Management It is important heat generating equipment have adequate spacing between units for proper air flow Many different types of panels can be purchased for the thermal management cooling of your rack Perforated metal panels provide additional convection cooling Fan panels are also available for forced air cooling It is important to maintain an operating temperature inside the rack that does not exceed 40 degrees C 104 degrees F NOTE ALL RACK ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION IS TO BE DONE BY QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL
