Assembly Instructions for HTS2 Speaker Stand Parts List 2 Base a Inner Insert post 6 Steel isolation sleeve d spikes and adjustment e nut c Outer 2 Clamping post mechanism f b 4 Foam dampening pad i 2 L keyhole 2 Complete bracket g adjustable post 2 Angled bracket h 2 Tab bracket j 2 Smm screw mounts bracket and clamp mechanism to inner post e Speaker to D D bracket mounting jf a 8c K Screws 1 4 20 5mm 4mm 8 8h STEP 1 Place speaker stand base a upside down on ground and thread steel isolation spikes in the 3 holes Turn the base over isolation spikes can scratch floors use caution and thread the outer post b into the hole in the base See Fig 1 Fig 2 for bottom back g A and keyhole eF mounting N for 45deg mounting A Klipsch j SIF for tab bracket mounting Boston Acoustics Fig 3 Fig 4 Fig 5 mounting side rails Inner screw e post d Insert sleeve e Outer post b Inner u gt post d Set screw wing nuts Fig 6 foam dampening pads jN f a Na j side rails fit snugly against speaker move rails all of the way out STEP 2 Select Appropriate speaker adapter Fig 2 for your particular speaker application If your speaker comes with a threaded insert use bracket g h or j If your speaker does not come with a threaded insert you will need to use the c2. lamping mechanism For clamping mechanism see STEP 3 1 equal distance on both sides STEP 3 Adapter Brackets Attach the adapter to the inner post d using the 5 mm mounting screw e then attach the speaker to the selected bracket using provided hardware and set to desired height STEP 3 1 Clamping Mechanism Attach top plate and inner post d with mounting screw e see fig 4 loosen the wing nut from the side rails just enough for the side rails to move left and right freely see fig 5 Move the right side rail all the way to the right and the left side rail all the way to the left Peel back the paper on the foam dampening pads so the adhesive is exposed then place the dampening pad on the inside of the right and left side rails see fig 6 Place the speaker so it is centered on the top plate for extra security you may use the provided hook and loop tabs and move the right and left side rails in toward the speaker until the foam dampening pads fit snugly against the speaker see fig 7 Before tightening wing nuts make sure the speaker is centered on the top plate and there is equal distance from the top plate to the right and left side rails see figure 7 Now secure the the side rails by tightening the wing nuts STEP 3 2 Keyhole Bracket Use the 8 machine screw and the 8c nut to attach the speaker as shown The circular nut fits through the speakers keyhole slot If the end of the screw touches the speakers inside su
