Another VCR e Player C RESET Releasing the JOG SHUTTLE controls engages the Still mode To use the remote control s JOG dial or SHUTTLE ring press JOG SHUTTLE first so that the button lights Pressing the button again turns off the light RESET THE COUNTER Press C RESET to change the counter display to OHO0MOOS LOCATE START POINT Determine the edit in point the beginning of the segment to be replaced using the JOG SHUTTLE controls 51 JVC 1 Soc gt oof 773 eom 7 O PA PLAY ENGAGE INSERT EDITING Press INSERT Your VCR enters the Insert Pause mode REC PLAY and PAUSE light up on the front display panel The TV screen changes from the still picture to the input source you are going to record START EDITING 8 Load the source cassette into another VCR and play back the segment that is to be inserted When you reach the start of section of source tape that you wish to insert press PLAY to start the tape in your VCR Insert Editing begins at this point PLAY and REC are displayed on the front display panel END INSERT EDITING 9 At counter 05 Insert Editing will stop automatically while the tape continues running in the Play mode if you

While holding down POWER on the VCR s remote control use the DIGIT keys to enter the cable box brand number from the chart below and then press STOP Qo Once you have set the remote control to operate the cable box you don t have to repeat this step until you replace the remote control s batteries OPERATE CABLE BOX 1 First press POWER to see if the cable box s power goes off as it should If it does try other functions CH can be used to operate the cable box To return the remote to VCR control set the MBR VCR switch to VCR NOTES You must set the cable box brand for your remote control and the cable box brand for your Cable Box Controller pg 18 separately The list of cable box brands that can be controlled by your remote control is different from the list of cable box brands that can be controlled by your cable box controller It is possible that the remote control will not operate your cable box even if the cable box s channels automatically change during timer recording using the Cable Box Controller Control Two JVC VCRs The remote control is capable of controlling two JVC VCRs independently one set to respond to your remote control s A code control signals and another set to respond to B code control signals The remote control is preset to send A code signals because your VCR is initially set to respond to A code signals You can easily
