Thank you for purchasing a pair of Minolta binoculars Please take the time to read through this instruction manual for it contains information that is important to the use and care of your binoculars NAMES OF PARTS A CD Focusing knob 2 Interpupillary scale 8 Objective lens 4 Eyepiece 8 Diopter adjustment dial 6 Strap eyelet STRAP B Attach the strap as shown Note A binocular case is enclosed in the bottom of the packaging box INTERPUPILLARY ADJUSTMENT C To adjust the binoculars for the distance between your eyes look through the binoculars at a distant subject and slide the binoculars in and out until you see a single rectangular image Note the setting on the interpupillary scale for the next time you use the binoculars DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT D Your vision may vary slightly between your left and right eye making it difficult to focus clearly Use the diopter adjustment dial to correct for any difference of vision between your eyes Look through the binoculars at a distant subject Cover the right side and turn the focusing knob C until the subject appears in sharp focus upper illustration Now cover the left side and view the subject through the right side Turn the diopter adjustment dial 5 until the subject appears in sharp focus again lower illustration The binoculars are now adjusted for your eyes FOCUSING E Look through the binoculars and turn
