4. ox approved headset accessory only 16 Channel Select Switch Selects channel of operation 3 128 5551D 6 of 12 BATTERY INSTALLATION 4 Your FR 200 requires four AAA alkaline cells or four rechargeable AAA cells Alkaline batteries will provide the best performance from your transceiver Remove the battery cover by rotating the belt clip away from the battery compartment Slide the battery cover downward while applying pressure at its grooved section Observe the polarity symbols inside the battery tray when installing the batteries Incorrect battery installation can damage the unit The microphone charger jack is intended for use with Audiovox approved charging accessories only Refer to the documentation included with the battery charger Never attempt to charge alkaline batteries with the optional battery charger CAUTION 128 5551D 7 of 12 USING YOUR FR 200 Turning the Transceiver on Pressing the power button for 2 seconds will activate the unit The speakerwillplayaconformationbeeptonetoconfirmtheFR 200 s activation Toturntheunitoff simplypressandholdthepowerbutton for 2 seconds The unit will play a tone to confirm its shutdown Button Conformation Tones The FR 200 will confirm each press of the up or down buttons with a conformation tone The tone will correspond to the current vol umesetting thelowerthetone thelowerthesetting Auniquetone will indicate that the limit of adjustment has been
