1. Minimum Operation Time nomal operation once the compressortumed on there isa minimum operation time of 3 minutes regardless of thermostat satisfaction Heating Features When the unit sta rts in the heating mode there wil be a preheating period before the unitisready to deliver warm air When the outdoortemperature islow the heating capacity will be reduced Ifthe room airis not warm enough during severe winter conditions use additional heating devices Defrost Operation Inthe heating mode when the outdoorcoil isfrosed the indoorfan and outdoorfan will tum off while the compressor wil tum on to remove the frost on the outdoorcoil The defrost mode stops after 10 minutesorwhen the outdoor coil temperature isgreaterthan 25 c When the powerisoff the defrost operation isautomatically conducted depending on frost accumulation on the outdoorcoil Auto Recovery When the electricity fails while the unit isoperating the unit memorizesthe operating condition and it will start operation automatically when the electricity isrestored When you leave home during an electricity failure please unplug the powercord orthe unit wil automatically restart in yourabsence CARE AND MAIN TEN AN CE OWNER S MANUAL 24 Frost Prevention of Indoor Unit When the unit operates on cooling at a low ambient temperature frost may appearon the indoor coil When the indoorcoil temperature isbelow 0 c the microcompu
