1. e The camcorder will automatically turn off if it remains in record pause for three minutes Slide the POWER switch upward to turn the camcorder back on e The camcorder has a beeper that beeps for certain functions The beep indicator flashes with the beeps To turn off the beeper press and hold STOP and PLAY together until BEEP OFF appears on the monitor or in the viewfinder Details on page 27 Zoom in and out e Zoom in and out using the T and W zoom lever Review what you have recorded e Press and quickly release REW to review the last few seconds of your recording e Press and hold REW or FFWD to visually see what you have re corded Release the button to begin recording at that point When you are finished slide the POWER switch upward to turn off the camcorder close the monitor and replace the lens cap 21 Recording Viewing What You Are Recording Using the Viewfinder or LCD Monitor You can watch what you are recording in the black and white viewfinder or on the color LCD monitor Opening the monitor turns off the viewfinder unless the monitor is rotated 130 or more Using the Viewfinder The camcorder s viewfinder is a miniature black and white monitor that displays the picture seen by the camcorder when recording For convenient viewing you can rotate the viewfinder up and down Cautions Do not force the viewfinder to rotate completely around This will damage the yepiece Focus v
