STANDBY indicator 23 This indicator lights up when the DV CP706 is in Standby mode Disc tray 25 The disc tray has six bays for loading up to six discs Disc tray light This light illuminates the disc tray It comes on when the DV CP706 is turned on and is brighter while the disc tray is open DISC SKIP button 25 26 This button is used to select the disc bays i e rotate the disc tray when loading or removing discs and to select discs for playback DISC SELECT 1 6 buttons 26 These buttons are used to select discs Playback starts automatically when a disc is selected with these buttons Open Close 4 button 24 25 26 This button is used to open and close the disc tray RANDOM button 37 This button is used with the Random function DIMMER button 33 This button is used to adjust the display brightness and turn the disc tray light on or off DISPLAY button 42 This button is used to display information about the current disc title chapter or track including the elapsed time remaining time total time and so on D REPEAT button 36 This button is used with the Repeat function Display See Display on page 13 for more information 4 Remote control sensor 17 This sensor receives control signals from the remote controller Previous ea button 27 29 30 34 This button is used to select the previous chapter or track During playback it selects the be

Stop and Resume On default On screen messages are displayed Off On screen messages are not displayed On Screen Display Color With this setting you can set the color and theme of the Disc navigation window Sapphire default Pearl Amethyst Garnet Background With this setting you can select the color of the back ground that s displayed when the DV CP706 is stopped Blue Gray Graphic default The theme picture specified for the On Screen Display Color setting is used Screen Saver With the Screen Saver function you can protect your TV against screen burn in which can occur when the same image or menu is displayed for a long time On default Screen saver on Off Screen saver off When the Screen Saver function is set to On and DVD Video playback is stopped for 15 minutes the Screen Saver function automatically displays a moving image Once the screen saver has been activated you can cancel it by pressing the Play button Note e The Screen Saver function also works with audio CDs and MP3 WMA discs 47 Configuring the DV CP706 Continued Operating Setting Menu Parental Lock With the Parental Lock function you can block access to certain scenes that the authors have flagged as being unsuitable for children To use parental lock you must set a security code 1 Select Operation Setting menu in the setup 2 Use the navigation lt gt a
