OPTIONAL SURROUND SOUND CONNECTIONS xtra speaker connections have been supplied on the rear of the PTV T da TV S INTERNAL SPEAKERS he These extra connections USED FOR SURROUND SOUND are especially important for some CENTER CHANNEL of the optional Amplifier and multi speaker arrangements that are possible with Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound audio features REAR OF PTV For example With the Surround mode multiple speakers are needed AMP SWITCI to complete the setup for proper mum ext INT DOLBY SURROUND sound playback 2 Front Left Right Speakers 1 Center Channel Speaker 3 2 Rear Surround Speakers CENTER CHANNEL AMP INPUT The Front Left Right Center and Rear Surround Speakers have their signals supplied by the connections located on the back of the Dolby SURROUND ProLogic Audio Receiver aa Note A CENTER CHANNEL AMP plifier INPUT is also located on the PTV This input can be used to connect the external Audio Receiver s Center Channel Output in order to play Center Channel sound through the internal PTV speakers When an Audio Receiver is used as the audio source for the CENTER CHANNEL AMP INPUT Place the PTV s AMP SWITCH to the EXTERNAL position MAXIMUM 30 WATT INPUT TO SPEAKERS LEFT FRONT DOLBY PROLOGIC RIGHT FRONT SPEAKER AUDIO AMPLIFIER SPEAKER REAR SURROUND SPEAKERS 32 Y
