I Blade Scale 50 x 0 01g Specifications 5 Capacity 50 00g 1 7640z 771 62gn 250 00ct S Units gram ounce gn ct S Calibration Auto calibration User calibration with 50g weight 5 Tare range to full capacity 5 Auto off 30 seconds S Operation temperature 50 F 86 F S Display LCD 4 5 digits S Dimensions 3 75 x 3 75 x 0 8 S Weight 162g Il Operation S Place the scale on a horizontal flat surface and press the ON OFF button S Wait until 0 0 shows on the display Gently place the object s on the weighing platform Ill Tare Weighing Turn on the scale as described above S Place the tare item on the platform S Press the TARE button and wait until 0 0 is displayed S Add the net weight item IV Basic Calibration S Turn on the scale Press and hold the MODE button until the LCD displays CAL then release the MODE button Press the MODE button again and the LCD will flash CAL then 50 00 will flash 3 times gently place the 50g calibration weight on the platform S Wait 3 4 seconds the LCD will display PASS and then 50 00 S Remove the weight and turn off the scale calibration is complete V Advanced Calibration If the LCD displays OUE2 when you turn on the scale calibrate as follows S Turn the scale on Before the scale completes its power up sequence you must press the MODE and TARE buttones at the same time2. and hold them down If this step is successfully completed then the LCD will display CAL and then a random number If you do not get the random number try again S Wait for the random number to stabilize S Press the MODE button again the LCD will display 2ero and then another random number place the 50g calibration weight on the platform S Wait 3 4 seconds then press MODE again the LCD will display PASS and then 50 00 Remove the weight and turn off the scale calibration is complete

AMERICAN WEIGH Blade 50 Pocket Scale g x 0 01g A R USER S MANUAL American Weigh Blade Scale User s Manual 50 x 0 01g Thank you for purchasing the American Weigh Blade Scale With normal care and proper treatment it will provide you with years of reliable service Please read all operating instructions carefully before using the scale It may be necessary to calibrate the scale before its first use S Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold Your scale will work better when operating in normal room temperature Allways allow the scale to acclimate to normal room temperature for at least an hour before use Give the scale sufficient warm up time before use or calibration Usually 30 to 60 seconds to give the internal components time to stablize S Keep your scale in a clean environment Dust dirt moisture vibra tion air currents or a close proximity to other electronic equipment can cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale Handle with care Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the weighing surface Although this scale is designed to be quite durable avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor S Do not shake drop or otherwise shock the scale This is a precision instrument and must be handled with extreme care S Only operate the scale on a stable vibration free surface
