SpanSet Height Safety SAVERLINE 18M AND 30M FALL ARREST AND RECOVERY BLOCKS USER MANUAL TE SpanSet WARNING These instructions including safe usage warnings and limitation of the products must be provided to the user and they must be read before any inspection installation or use of this product If there are any points in this manual that you are unsure of seek a competent trained person to clarify before using 2 013 Instruction Manual Saverline 18m 30m Recovery Block indd 1 D 4 06 13 9 37 AM Saverline 18m and 30m Fall Arrest and Recovery Blocks The SVLRB is a variant of the Saverline SVLB family of devices and has been designed for your safety when working at height They have a unique sealed braking system that ensures the device pays out freely but locks on rapidly to minimise free fall and impact loads on both the anchorage and the body The SVLRB 18 has an emergency retrieval function which can raise or lower the user in the event of an emergency It is not designed as an everyday winch If the unit has been deployed in a fall arrest the hook load indicator will show on the swivel hook If the gear mechanism has been used in an emergency the plastic padlock will be missing or broken If the hook indicator is visible or the plastic tag not present or broken do not use the device Features 18m 59ft maximum working length 30m 99ft maximum work
