SHARPERTEK OPERATORS MANUAL HEATED ULTRASONIC BLIND CLEANER GENERAL MACHINE DESCRIPTION All SharperTek Blind Cleaners are manufactured using only high quality stainless steel for the exterior and using industrial strength 27 or 40 kHz transducers to provide you with a durable powerful cleaning machine This machine is equipped with a heated ultrasonic tank and a rinse tank There are separate filtration systems for each tank ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS Ultrasonic Frequency 27 or 40kHz Ultrasonic Power See Machine Label Heat See Machine Label Input Power 100 120 or 220 240VAC 50 60Hz Specified at time of purchase CONTROL COMPONENT SPECIFICATIONS Time Settings 5 30 5 60 or 5 90 minutes Max Water Temperature 70 C 158 F 4 C Specified at time of purchase OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS To extend the life of your machine follow these instructions Misuse of this machine will void the warranty Place the cleaner on flat ground e Make sure that the drain valve is closed if unit has a drain valve Fill tank approx 10 with cleaning solution prior to use NOTE Always make sure the machine is unplugged before filling the tank NOTE NEVER turn on or start up the ultrasonics without solution in the tank NOTE DO NOT allow the fluid level in the ultrasonic to be less than 8 when operating ultrasonics NOTE Use only non flammable water based solutions NOTE NEVER use mineral acids These could da
4. mage the tank allowing the solution to leak onto the electronics e Place the blinds into the basket and then into the machine NOTE DO NOT place any objects directly on the bottom of the cleaning tank Weight on the tank bottom will dampen ultrasonic energy and will damage the transducers Leave at least a half of an inch between the bottom of the tank and the receptacle for proper operation NOTE This cleaner is intended to clean only blinds DO NOT place jewelry or other foreign objects in the cleaner since this may damage the object or even the cleaner Plug the cleaner into a grounded receptacle Set the ultrasonic timer and heating timer to desired time setting And flip the switch on NOTE NEVER leave the machine unchecked while the heater is on Water can evaporate and cause the unit to burn Once the cleaning cycle is complete power off the machine by flipping the switch to the off position NOTE Make sure heater is turned off Unplug the machine NOTE Always turn machine off and unplug if not in use Drain empty the cleaning solution from the tank and dispose of properly RINSE TANK OPERATION To activate the rinse system simply apply approx 5psi pressure to the air hose fitting on the back of the unit DO NOT exceed 10psi outlet pressure on the rinse system WARNINGS DO NOT spill on or immerse in water to avoid electrocution DO NOT remove ground prong from power cord plug DO
