1. Forced Routing This parameter forces routing of new requests through the Proxy even if the destination peer may be directly reachable This is done adding a pre loaded route as recommended in RFC 3261 Enable this option if you have problems placing calls NOTE Many SIP services use a Proxy Registrar both Registrar and Proxy on the same host If your provider refers to a Proxy Registrar or in general to a SIP Server then you should enable and configure identically both the Registrar and the Proxy using the same host and port number 3 7 1 SIP Advanced Settings Here you can set the Advanced SIP Settings Transport Enable the UDP and or TCP transport for outgoing SIP requests Incoming requests will always be accepted on both protocols regardless of this setting for compliance to RFC 3261 Note that Microsoft Live Communication Server LCS only supports TCP If more than one protocol is enabled Mirial Softphone will perform the standard transport selection procedure However for compatibility with some nonstandard third party equipment you may have to enable just one of the supported protocols see below Authentication The default authentication credentials Username and Password to access the SIP service The Username is usually the same as your SIP User but may be different Mirial Softphone supports Digest Kerberos and NTLM authentication challenges If an authentication realm is in the route path for which the def
