1. To reduce the risk of electric shock this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet reverse the plug If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician Do not modify the plug in any way OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1 Plug cord into outlet 2 Remove lid from base of grinder If desired measure beans in lid using measurement markings before filling stainless steel bowl 3 Fill stainless steel bowl with bean quantity desired Do not fill beans above the top of the stainless steel bowl 4 Place the lid onto grinder base 5 Press and hold on off button to begin grinding Please note A safety feature of this grinder requires that the grinder will not operate unless the lid is in place 6 Grind until beans are ground to desired consistency To stop grinding release pressure from on off button 7 Remove plug from outlet 8 Pour ground coffee into grinder lid 9 Measure coffee with scoop not included tablespoon or lid measurement markings into coffeemaker filter basket See measurement suggestions on reverse FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY Cuisinart 1 On Off Button 5 Stainless Steel 2 Lid Bowl 3 Stainless Steel 6 Grinder Base Blades 7 Cord Storage 4 Measurement Markings CLEANING ST ORAGE INSTRUCTIONS 1 Be sure that grinder plug has been removed from outlet 2 Wipe inside of stainless steel bowl and lid with damp paper tow2.
