Access App Once you have downloaded the App you may lock or unlock your vehicle from virtually any distance Download the Uconnect Access App to compatible Apple or Android mobile devices All you need to do is 1 After registering with Uconnect Access log on to your Mopar Owner Connect account at moparownerconnect com 2 On the Dashboard page enter your mobile phone number to receive a link to download the App on your mobile device Or go to iTunes or Google Play and search for the Uconnect Access App 3 To activate the App enter your Mopar Owner Connect user name and password and log in Your vehicle is then connected to your mobile device Mobile App ELECTRONICS Voice Texting 8 4AN You must be registered with Uconnect Access and have a compatible MAP enabled smartphone to use your voice to send a personalized text message Not compatible with iPhone 1 To send a message push the Phone button lt After the beep say Send message to John Smith 2 Listen to the prompt After the beep dictate the message you would like to send Wait for Uconnect to process your message 3 The Uconnect system will repeat your message and provide a variety of options to add to delete send or hear the message again After the beep tell Uconnect what you d like to do For instance if you re happy with your message after the beep say Send TIP e Messages are limited

Do not connect the cable to the negative post of the discharged battery The resulting electrical spark could cause the battery to explode and could result in personal injury 112 WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES TOWING A DISABLED VEHICLE Do not tow with sling type equipment This vehicle must be towed with all four wheels OFF the ground using a flatbed Always comply with applicable state or local towing ordinances CAUTION e Failure to follow these towing methods can cause severe transmission damage Such damage is not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty e Do not attempt to use sling type equipment when towing When securing the vehicle to a flatbed truck do not attach to front or rear suspension components Damage to your vehicle may result from improper towing FREEING A STUCK VEHICLE e If your vehicle becomes stuck in mud sand or snow it can often be moved by a rocking motion Turn your steering wheel right and left to clear the area around the front wheels Then shift back and forth between 2nd gear and REVERSE Using minimal accelerator pedal pressure to maintain the rocking motion without spinning the wheels is most effective Fast spinning tires can be dangerous Forces generated by excessive wheel speeds may cause tire damage or failure A tire could explode and injure someone Do not spin your vehicle s wheels faster than 30 mph 48 km h when you are stuck Do not let anyone near a spinning whe

16. transmitter e The Vehicle Security Light in the instrument cluster will flash for 16 seconds This shows that the Vehicle Security Alarm is arming During this period if a door is opened the ignition is cycled to ON RUN or the power door locks are unlocked in any manner the Vehicle Security Alarm will automatically disarm NOTE e During the 16 second arming period if a door is opened or the ignition is cycled to ON RUN the Vehicle Security Alarm will automatically disarm e Once armed the Vehicle Security Alarm disables the unlock switch on the driver door trim panel and passenger door trim panel e Using the key to open the liftgate while the Vehicle Security Alarm is armed will not trigger the theft alarm To Disarm The Vehicle Security Alarm can be disarmed using any of the following methods e Push the UNLOCK button on the Remote Keyless Entry RKE transmitter e Cycle the vehicle ignition system out of the OFF position GETTING STARTED SEAT BELT SYSTEMS Lap Shoulder Belts e All seating positions in your vehicle are equipped with lap shoulder belts e Be sure everyone in your vehicle is in a seat and using a seat belt properly e Position the lap belt so that it is snug and lies low across your hips below your abdomen To remove slack in the lap belt portion pull up on the shoulder belt To loosen the lap belt if it is too tight tilt the latch plate and pull on the lap belt A snug seat belt reduces the r
