35. riod of time it would reduce the constant growth of the parking permit wait list I recommend that the railroad station existing 279 outdoor parking permit fees be increased to 335 and that the existing 488 for the Plaza indoor parking permit fees be increased to 586 The existing 279 Town Hall Garage THG parking permit fees also be increased to 335 The THG permits have also become available to residents and businesses in the Greenwich Central Business Districts A waiting list will be established for spaces requested above a 150 permit space allocation In addition to adjustments in the existing fee structure I recommend the 50 designated permit parking spaces in the Sound View parking lot also be also increased by 20 percent from 488 to 586 These permit spaces will be only assigned to local businesses Once the maximum allotted permits are sold a wait list will be established on a first come first served basis for those who applied for a permit but did not receive one In summation the 2011 12 rail station fee increase recommendations will be as follows 20 increase in outdoor railroad permit fees from 279 to 335 20 increase in indoor Plaza permit fees from 488 to 540 20 increase Town Hall Parking Deck permit fees from 279 to 335 20 increase Sound View lot permit fees from 488 to 586 There is no immediate recommendation to increase parking meter fees Cc David Theis Drew Marzullo John Crary
