1. Using the buttons A switches the mode for aspect ratio For an RGB signal NORMAL 4 3 16 9 SMALL t tt ASPECT For a video signal s video signal or component video signal 4 3 16 9 amp 14 9 SMALL t St For a no signal 4 3 fixed The NORMAL mode keeps the original aspect ratio of the signal Using the buttons A adjusts the over scan ratio Large It reduces picture lt Small It magnifies picture OVER SCAN e This item can be selected only for a video s video and component signal e When this adjustment is too large certain degradation may appear at the frame area of the picture In such a case please adjust small Using the buttons A adjusts the vertical position Up amp Down e Over adjusting the vertical position may cause noise to appear on the screen If this occurs please reset the vertical position to the V POSITION default setting Pressing the RESET button when V POSITION is selected will reset the V POSITION to the default setting For a video signal s video signal or component video signal The adjustable range of V POSITION depends on the OVERSCAN setting It is not possible to adjust when the OVERSCAN is set to 10 Using the buttons A adjusts the horizontal position Left amp Right e Over adjusting the horizontal position may cause noise to appear on the screen If this occurs please reset the horizontal position to H POSITION the default setting Pressing the RESET button w

When the zoom adjustment is set to the TELE telephoto focus this correction may be excessive This function should be used when the zoom adjustment is set to the WIDE wide angle focus whenever possible e When vertical degree is almost 0 degree the automatic keystone distortion correction may not work e When vertical degree is almost 30 degree the automatic keystone distortion correction may not work well e This function will be unavailable when Transition Detector is on M48 Using the magnify feature VIDEO RGB SEARCH 1 Press the ON button of MAGNIFY on the remote control SOOO ASPECT AUTO BLANK The MAGNIFY indication will appear on the screen although the indication will disappear in several seconds with no operation and the projector will enter the MAGNIFY mode 2 Use the cursor buttons A V to adjust the zoom level To move the zoom area press the POSITION button in the MAGNIFY mode then use the cursor buttons A lt gt to move the area And to finalize the zoom area press the POSITION button again To exit the MAGNIFY mode and restore the screen to normal press the OFF button of MAGNIFY on the remote control e The projector automatically exits the MAGNIFY mode when the input signal is changed or when the display condition is changed e Although in the MAGNIFY mode the keystone distortion condition may vary it will be restored when the projector exits the MAGNIFY mode 21

21. 2 5 386 152 Adjusting the projector s elevator You can use the elevator feet to make adjustments if the surface on which you need to set the projector is uneven or if you otherwise need to adjust the angle of projection The adjustment range of the elevator feet is 0 to 9 degrees Elevator feet Elevator button 1 After making sure that the projector is cool adequately press and hold in the elevator buttons while holding the projector The elevator buttons and the elevator feet are on the both sides 2 Raise or lower the projector to the desired height and release the elevator buttons When you release the elevator buttons the elevator feet will lock into position 3 If necessary you can also finely adjust the height of the projector by twisting the elevator feet by hand Using the Security Bar Acommercial anti theft chain or wire can be attached to the security bar on the projector 1 How to attach An anti theft chain or wire can be attached as shown in the illustration Anti theft chains or wires of up to 10mm in diameter can be used Security Bar Anti theft chain or wire sold separately Connecting your devices NOTE Whenever attempting to connect a laptop computer to the projector be sure to activate the laptop s RGB external image output set the laptop to CRT display or to simultaneous LCD and CRT display For details on how this is done please refer to the instruction manual of
