2. 10 15 minutes When battery level decreased to a level that 2 14 minutes the lighting fades out light intensity drops to 100LUX and user handcranks it for 10 minutes speed 2 120 rev min Minutes will vary by phone type operating system and settings IMPORTANT CHARGING NOTES It s important to keep your Weather Radio s internal battery charged up for when you need it Fully charge the Weather Radio s internal battery every 3 months if you haven t used it so you are ready to use it in case of an emergency The best way to charge the internal battery is by plugging the Weather Radio into a USB power source like a computer However if you find yourself without a charge during an emergency you can use the hand crank to charge internal battery Precautions This product should not be used by children 8 years and under unless supervised by an adult Do not use or leave the Weather Radio in extreme cold or extreme heat or expose it to dusty or moist environments for long periods Use a soft cloth dipped in a neutral detergent to clean this product if necessary Do not use strong solvents to clean this product If you keep this product in your vehicle make sure you keep it somewhere secure so that you avoid misuse or injury but also somewhere you can get to quickly in case of need Do not shine flashlight at anyone s eyes Do not use excessive volume when using headphones Cover the charging connections with the

Grip the Weather radio with one hand the crank with the other 3 Turn the handle rapidly about 120 to 150 RPM It will take about 100 minutes to recharge completely if battery was totally depleted IMPORTANT Don t force the hand crank Make sure you turn from the handle only don t grab the entire crank Mobile Phone Charging 1 Move the weather radio s slide switch past the number 7 to the mobile phone icon This puts it into charging mode N Lift the rubber cover off the weather radio s jacks on the end opposite the flashlight w Plug the 2 5mm end of the included 2 5mm to USB cable into the weather radio s mobile phone charging jack 4 Plug the charging cable that came with your mobile device into the USB female connector on the included 2 5mm to USB cable 5 Connect your device s charging cable to your mobile device see Figure 3 Figure 3 USB cable female connector Your USB to mobile phone cable If the weather radio s battery has sufficient charge your mobile device will start charging immediately If it doesn t have enough charge use the hand crank to start charging Continues on next page 3 Note The weather radio s charging output is 5V 0 2V Make sure your mobile device is compatible with this voltage 6 When you re finished charging disconnect the 2 5mm to USB cable from the weather radio and place the rubber cover over the jacks
