Section 4 Software Information 4 1 LCD function The 3823 Group has the build in Liquid Crystal Display LCD drive control circuit When the LCD enable bit is set to 1 after data is set in the LCD mode register the segment output enable register and the LCD display RAM the LCD drive control circuit starts reading the display data automatically performs the bias control and the duty ratio control and displays the data on the LCD panel A maximum of 32 segment output pins and 4 common output pins can be used up to 128 pixels can be controller for LCD display In this sample software 1 4 duty and 1 3 bias are selected for displaying data on the LCD 4 common signal output pins and 17 segments signal output pins are used to drive the LCD The LCDCK timing frequency LCD drive timing is generated internally and the frame frequency can be determined with the following equation frequency of count source for LCDCK ru divider division ratio for LCD Frame _ _ WNLCDCK atan To the LCD power input pins VL1 VL3 apply the voltage shown Table 4 1 according to the bias value Select a bias value by the bias control bit bit 2 of the LCD mode register Bias value Voltage value VL3 VLCD 1 3 bias VL2 2 3 VLCD VL1 71 3 VLCD VL3 VLCD Mas VL2 VL1 1 2 VLCD Table 4 1 Bias control and applied voltage to VL1 VL3 Refer to the 3823 Group d

TL a 5 When the user 5 program is being stopped prog E HOPP from the emulator debugger Stops the user s program initializes the emulator and When the user s program is being executed e waits for command from the emulator debugger Table 3 3 Functions of the system reset switch 20 RSSZEUMO003 0100 Rev 1 00 434 NE S AS 4 LED for Checking the Connections of the Target Status Cables The LED LED7 for checking the connections of the target status cables lights only when the Vcc and GND of target status cables are connected properly When this LED does not light after turning on the emulator and user system turn off the power immediately and check the connections of the target status cables However even under normal operating conditions when the power supply voltage is less than 3 3 V the GOOD LED will dim or will not turn on GOOD LED Green VCC and GND of the target status cable are connected properly OFF VCC and GND of the target status cable are not connected properly or power 15 not supplied Table 3 4 Definitions of the target status LEDs Power Connector J1 This is a connector for connecting the power supply to this product USB Cable Connector J2 This is a USB cable connector for connecting the host machine to this product Emulator MCU type selection switch This is a switch to select the emulator MCU type Probe cable This is a cable to connect the emulato
