1. 24076 Reedy Dr   Elkhart  IN 46514   574  266 5551  Office    574  206 9296  Fax        INTELLITEC GLIDE OUT CONTROLLER USER MANUAL  400302  OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS    INSTALLATION GUIDE       Mounting Location     In a typical application  the controller is located near the motor to minimize the  length of heavy gauge wire needed for the installation  A light gauge wire is run from this unit to as  many switches as desired to control the load  These switches can be of Intellitec   s MONOPLEX  tm   style  or any single pole momentary contact type  Note  The controller is designed to mount in a dry  location     Wiring Requirements     The  12 Volt lead must be protected with a fuse or breaker of no greater than  30 Amps and the wires connecting the controller to the motor  to  12 Volts and to ground must all be of  sufficient size to carry this current  The wire for the switches may be of a smaller size as it carries only  a very small current of 0 03 Amp max  Connect the wires per the diagram on the opposite side of this    page     Stop Current Adjustment     The controller measures motor current to sense when the mechanism  reaches the end of its travel  When the current exceeds a pre set level  the controller will shut off  This  current level is adjustable by a pot  mounted on the unit  The range of this adjustment is from  approximately 20 Amps to 50 Amps  If the current is set too low  the mechanism will stop before it  reaches the end of travel or during start up  If i
