13. and has a very long life However the filter will gradually be worn by the many large and small particles that are held back Therefore it is necessary regularly to check if the filter is undamaged and intact If the filter material is not intact the multi tube filter cannot hold back the dust particles which will penetrate the filter and be caught by the HEPA filter The HEPA filter is intended for very fine dust and will rapidly be blocked if the multi tube filter is damaged e Loosen the container clips of the motor top and remove the motor top e Place the motor top on a dry clean and flat surface e Check the top surface of the multi tube filter for dust particles If you can see dust particles there it is a sign of a damaged and worn multi tube filter A damaged or worn multi tube filter must be replaced A replacement of the multi tube filter should also include a replacement of the HEPA filter Replacement of the HEPA Filter Item No 84 67 5006 e Loosen the four container clips of the motor top and remove the motor top Place the motor top so that the filter is easily accessible In order to ensure a dust free emptying when the HEPA filter is replaced the following procedure must be followed RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S 24 V BRONDUM A S User Manual Remove the nut and washer fastening the HEPA filter Use a size 10 ring spanner BE CAREFUL not to throw away the washer and nut These are to be used again

15. during the emptying is reduced NOTE Do not tap on the intake as this will swirl up the dust in the container and result in blocking of the multi tube filter Therefore ALWAYS use the shock valve for cleaning of the multi tube filter during operation RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S 20 V BRONDUM A S User Manual Emptying The RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S can collect the material depending on the character of the material directly the collection container or in a filter bag if collecting dust hazardous to health a filter bag must be used If the machine has been used without filter bag immediately before the emptying it is recommended to wait a few minutes with the emptying to allow the fine dust to fall to the bottom of the collection container e Loosen the four container clips attaching the motor top to the collection container and remove the motor top e Place the motor top on a dry and clean surface e Carefully lift up the multi tube filter in the two handles e Carefully place the multi tube filter on a dry flat surface If no filter bag has been used the collection container can now be emptied e fa filter bag has been used the bag is removed from the container coupling e Close the filter bag e Now you can dispose of the filter bag REMEMBER Disposal of dust hazardous to health must take place in accordance with the national regulations e Puta new filter bag in the collection container e Put the multi tube filter

19. mounted and intact IMPORTANT Never cover up the motor top when the machine is in use IMPORTANT Never collect warm or glowing materials IMPORTANT Never extract from processes producing sparks RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S 16 V BRONDUM A S User Manual Assembling e Check that the packing is intact and has no sign of damage from handling and transport e Unpack RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S and check that all the parts ordered are there e Assemble the three parts of the tube and mount an appropriate nozzle e Fasten the rubber coupling of the suction hose to the tube and mount the other end of the hose in the coupling of the container of RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S e Check that the collection container is empty and that the multi tube filter has been correctly mounted in the collection container Check that the filters of the machine are intact and undamaged see the chapter Change of Filters e If dust hazardous to health is to be collected you must use a collection filter bag e Before the plug is connected to the electrical main supply you must make sure that the plug and the cord are undamaged If the cord or the plug is damaged a professional must replace the parts Only an original cord may be mounted e Connect the machine to 230 V power supply with a reliable earth connection e Remember to place the label onto the H label if the language of the user is not German e RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S is
20. now ready for use The collection is described in details in the following chapter RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S 17 BRONDUM A S User Manual Collection of Dry Dust When the machine has been correctly assembled and connected it can be switched on and off at the red start stop switch of the motor top The machine has been equipped with an alarm indicating when the air flow is too low for collection This alarm has to be checked before use Block the intake at the end of the hose and the machine will start beeping Unblock and the beeper alarm will stop During operation the RONDA 200 can be driven around on the 5 swivel wheels mounted on the collection container The floor nozzle is perfect for collection of dust and materials from large flat surfaces The nozzle is provided with brushes and wheels to ensure an optimal positioning of the nozzle on the flat surface Gradually the brushes will be worn and the nozzle will no longer collect in the optimum way Adjust the height of the wheels using the knob on the nozzle so that the brushes only just touch the floor Electrical Outlet with Automatic Start Stop RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S is equipped with an automatic start stop and electrical outlet If you connect electrical hand tools directly to the power outlet of the motor top the RONDA 200 will automatically be switched on and off when the hand tools are switched on and off Therefore the suction will continue for s
21. o the national regulations If the machine has been used for asbestos the machine must be disassembled and cleaned before it is used in a clean environment The machine must be emptied cleaned and packed before transport Mark the packing according to the national regulations The machine must be transported in a min 120 um plastic bag or other tight fitting packing RONDA 200H RONDA 200H S 22 V BRONDUM A S User Manual Cleaning and Maintenance The machine must always be emptied after use If the machine is left with dust there is a risk of self ignition Read the chapter about safety precautions before cleaning and maintenance The easiest way to clean the machine is as follows e The multi tube filter is cleaned as required e Wipe the machine on the outside with a dry or damp cloth Maintenance of the Motor Top The motor top is made of maintenance free parts and needs therefore no daily maintenance apart from external cleaning and check that the cords and plugs are undamaged The easiest way to clean the motor top is with a damp cloth Do not aim jets of water directly at the motor top In order to avoid stop in operation and also to make sure that the safety of the vacuum cleaner is intact it is recommended that the electrical parts are inspected annually by an authorized technician It is recommended to have an authorized service centre inspect the brushes of the suction motor after approx 800 working hours
