9. screen 22 LYND BL URITOSMSS 9a Overview The Lynx incorporates Bluetooth wireless technology Bluetooth is a specification that describes how cellular phones computers computer peripherals personal digital assistants PDAs and other devices can be easily interconnected to one another using a wireless short range connection To use the Bluetooth features provided in the Lynx you must pair and connect to a device that supports Bluetooth wireless technology Through the utilization of Bluetooth wireless technology you can connect your phone or media player to the Lynx This can provide the ability to place and receive calls access your phone s phonebook and call lists or stream stereo audio to your Lynx 9b Profiles In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology a device must be able to interpret certain Bluetooth profiles To determine if the device you wish to connect to supports the desired functionality please consult your device s user manual The following is a list of the Bluetooth profiles supported by the Lynx and the functionality provided by the profile LYN 23 BLUETOOTH cont 9b Profiles cont allows stereo quality audio to be streamed from a media source to the Lynx Advanced Audio Distribution Profile A2DP provides the ability to control the media source e g play pause stop next track Audio Video Remote Control Profile AVRCP
