MCXSX India s New Stock Exchange MCX Stock Exchange Limited IT Department Circular No MCX SX IT 950 2013 January 16 2013 Internet Connectivity In terms of provisions of the Rules Bye Laws and Regulations of MCX Stock Exchange Ltd Exchange MCX SX Members of the Exchange are notified as under In order to enable the Members of the Exchange to get connected to the Exchange Server for trading the Exchange permits secured connectivity through Internet To provide better and secure mode of connectivity for trading through internet Exchange has implemented two factor authentication mechanism Two factor authentication is implemented using RSA Secure ID hardware token from RSA which is one of the premier providers of security solutions RSA Secure ID two factor authentication comprises of a combination of PIN the first factor and one time password OTP the token which is the second factor provides reliable and secured user authentication Hence for login to the system user needs to key in the username amp password and the one time password generated by the RSA hardware token which changes every 60 seconds Only after providing the correct username amp password along with a valid OTP the user will be allowed to login for trading The Exchange shall dispatch RSA hardware token kit through courier to the address provided by the member to the Exchange The kit will contain User Manual MCX SX RSA hardware token and list of users who nee2. d to use RSA hardware token Soft copy of User Manual shall be available in downloads section on the web site http mcx sx com All internet trading users are requested to follow instructions given in the User Manual for use of RSA hardware token The terms and conditions relating to facility for internet connectivity are as under 1 It is mandatory for Members to obtain RSA tokens for each User ID of respective segment along with a request for enabling connectivity over internet Without RSA token connectivity over internet will not be permitted 2 Members may apply for internet connectivity facility using RSA Hardware Tokens as per Annexure or Annexure II along with their request for new user ID s and for respective segment 3 In case the RSA Hardware Tokens are lost damaged after receipt the Members shall immediately intimate the Exchange as per Annexure III 4 Exchange shall allow Member Admin Terminal MAT over internet only to those Members who do not have any other mode of connectivity i e VSAT or Leased line Only one MAT per segment will be permitted Members may please note that broadcast will not be available if MAT is used on internet connectivity Commercial charges Members shall be charged a sum of Rs 4000 per token per user per segment towards the activation maintenance and logistics of the RSA hardware token The RSA hardware token shall be valid up to the expiry date shown on the back of the token and thereaf
