C AS CADE Dear Valued Customer Thank you for choosing to purchase a Cascade Coffee Grinder Model CE873CG appliance we appreciate your business We have provided a product which is value for money and is supported by our after sales service We encourage you and your friends to choose from the range of Cascade appliances in the future Oriental Pacific TECHNICAL INFORMATION Please make sure that your house installation voltage corresponds to the voltage marked on the unit Mains supply 230 240V 50 Hz AC only Rated Power 100 watts INSTRUCTION MANUAL SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS 1 BEFORE FIRST USE 1 Your CASCADE Coffee Grinder has left the factory in good working order in this carton for your protection Should the carton be damaged or if the product is dropped damaged has a malfunction in any way or if the flexible cord is damaged immediately contact your retailer for replacement or repair 2 Carefully unpack your CASCADE Coffee Grinder Make sure you do not discard any packaging material until all parts of the appliance have been found 3 Carefully wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth to remove any dust that may have accumulated Dry with a dry towel Do not use abrasive cleaners WARNING Do not immerse in water or any other liquids 4 Wipe the coffee bowl the inside of the lid and blades with a damp cloth Dry with a dry towel 5 The appliance is now ready for operation OPERATION This
3. appliance has been designed for general household use only The appliance is designed solely for the purpose of grinding roasted coffee beans and must not be used in any other capacity USE e Always place the appliance on a flat clean and non slippery surface before operating it e Connect the grinder supply cord plug to the power supply and switch on e Remove the clear coffee grinder lid Place up to 36 grams of roasted coffee beans into the stainless steel bowl located with the blades e 36 grams can be gauged by filling level to the top of the stainless steel bowl rim where the line of the plastic wall begins e Typical grinding times are indicated below 12 grams 20 seconds 24 grams 25 seconds 36 grams 30 seconds e Place the clear lid onto the grinder body Switch on by pressing the lid safety switch down to activate the blades Continue until the desired consistency is achieved Warning Do not operate the grinder continuously for periods of more than 1 minute Do not press anything other than the safety switch onto the On Off button as this is potentially very dangerous Note The grinding of coffee beans is critical to the overall taste and strength of the coffee to be made fine grinding will result in a strong coffee while coarse grinding will be comparatively weak or watery Experimentation may be required to suit personal tastes Frozen coffee beans are acceptable and will not damage the blades Never mix li
