2. height adjustment To change the side just move the wire in the armrest to the chosen armrest The height adjustment is only to be used for 1 minutte then 9 minuttes pause is mandatory 4 SEAT ROTATION ONLY VELA TANGO 100E You can rotate the seat 90 to the left and 90 to the right by us ing the lever placed at your right hand Pull out the lever to use the open rotation 4 SEAT TILT The seat tilt is changed by using the lever placed in the right side just under the armrest 4 1 6 2 BACK TILT AND BACK TILT The back tilt can be changed by using the lever placed on the right side BACK HEIGHT The back height is changed bv using the lever which is placed on the back of the chair Remember to tightend the lever again 1 6 3 ARMREST The height as well as the width of the armrests can be adjusted 4 HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT The height is adjusted bv loosening the lever Remember to tighten them well again 4 WIDTH ADJUSTMENT The width is set bv loosening the lever under the seat and adjust ing the width Remember to tighten the levers again 4 1 6 4 BRAKE VELA Tango has a centralbrake The hand brake is pushed forwards to lock the wheels and backwards to release them The brake can easilv be changed to the other side if requested Just remove the rubberstop and place the brake in the hole 4 BACK ANGLE ONLY VELA TANGO 200EF The back angle on VELA Tango 200EF can be locked in the needed position by adjusting the

4. ised service technicians 1 3 UNPACKING THE CHAIR VELA Tango is supplied in cardboard packaging which is developed and produced to ensure the least possible impact on the environment and with focus on ease of use In case of defects or trans port damage to the chair please contact VELA immediately You must not try to repair any damage yourself or start using the chair The box in which the chair was supplied should contain VELA Tango fitted with any additional accessories This user manual 1 4 MAINTENANCE OF VELA TANGO We recommend that you have your VELA Tango serviced once a year to identify any defective or worn parts However removable parts should be regularly checked and tightened Wheels Wheels should be regularly checked and cleaned of any fluff etc Base Wash with a mild solution of lukewarm water and pH neutral washing up liquid Upholsterv The fabric is made of wool which only needs to be vacuumed occasionally and wiped with a cloth rinsed in clean water and tightly wrung Make sure to remove any stains as quickly as possible Always use a moist clean white cotton cloth For more stubborn stains use a bit of mild washing up liquid Any incontinence cover should be machine washed on a gentle cycle 1 5 GENERAL GUIDELINES To ensure correct use of the VELA Tango please note the following 1 5 1 TRANSPORTATION Always remember to lock the chair in position when transporting VELA Tango No one should sit in
