The default setting feature consists of the following options Cancel e Ok 21 SecurityMan m leai Return menu setting Version todefaults VERSION The version option is used to view the Carcam SDE firmware NOTE UPDATING FIRMWARE 1 To update your Carcam firmware make sure you have the firmware file downloaded and pasted it into the root of the micro SD card on your PC 2 Insert the micro SD card into your Carcam device 3 Turn on the Carcam The power light will turn on and the screen will remain black 4 Wait for the firmware to install into the Carcam 5 Once complete the Carcam screen will display its welcome screen 6 To check if the firmware has been updated go into the Setup Settings menu and check the Version NOTE Please remember to remove the firmware file from your micro SD card to prevent the firmware from flashing every time you restart your Carcam device Ver sion 791000 1 00 SecurityMan PHOTO SETTINGS The Camera configures the Carcam SDE s photo snapshot settings In the Photo mode press the Menu button to open up the Camera configuration menu EE Jm PhotoSettings Capture Mode Resolution 00 02 36 gi Burst Mode Sharpness SOOT WE 2014 04 09 16 51 46 SecurityMan CAMERA SETTINGS The Camera settings consist of the following configuration options Capture Mode Used to configure single or timed snapshots e Resolution Phot
