6. s used The marks correspond to different flows ses Upper mark 35m h Middle mark 27m h Lower mark 17m h On the control panel and control box there are two adjustment screws to set high and low flow High flow is to be used when two chin masks are connected and is normally adjusted to be between 27 and 35 m3 h between the two upper marks When only one chin mask is connected the suction 1s set to low flow adjusted to 17 m3 h All adjustments must be made with connected mask s Adjustment High flow 6 Medicvent AB Pendelgatan 3 S 904 22 Umea Phone 46 90 127500 www medicvent se Handling Directions for use 1 Activate the suction with the switch on the control panel or control box 2 Check the evacuation flow against the flow meter see Installation previous page If the flow meter does not indicate a correct flow a leakage might be suspected Check all connections or contact your hospitals technical support 3 Use tube holder when possible This is to enable positioning of the tube so that it does not interfere with the treatment of the patient 4 Attach the chin mask to the patients face placing the rubber strap around the patients head If the end piece of the tube that is connected to the chin mask feels to long and or touches the patient it can be cut off to a more applicable length Clean and disinfect All close to patient details chin mask rubber strap evacuatio
