4. r uni PEA re of DC Adapter Tip Examine this end Examine this end capped wit pve or answering macnn INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS continued Page 4 CyberPower PhoneSaver User Manual Determine the polarity positive or negative of the cordless phone or answering machine The polarity identification marking is located near the input power jack usually found on the back or bottom of the phone or answering machine Look for one of the following two symbols OG POSITIVE CO NEGATIVE 3 Connect the two prong end of the selected DC adapter tip to the DC voltage output cord from the PhoneSaver unit The arrow on the DC adapter tip should point directly to the correct polarity symbol on the DC voltage output cord NOTE The DC voltage output cord has both positive and negative polarity symbols on opposite sides Posinive gt oe i NEgamVE e o CAUTION A reversed polarity connection may cause damage to the cordless phone or answering machine INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS continued Page 5 CyberPower PhoneSaver User Manual Determine the DC input voltage required for your cordless phone or answering machine The DC input voltage rating is located near the input power jack usually found on the back or bottom of the phone or answering machine One of the following voltage levels will be stated 6V 7 5V 9V or 12V EXAMPLE ae tn a ee h O o DCINSV Vol
