Mil SERIES DIGITAL WEIGHING SCALE OPERATION MANUAL PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE THE SCALE February 2006 Rev 2 Specifications subject to change without prior notice CONTENTS 1 INSTALLATION 2 SPECIFICATIONS 3 KEYBOARD LAYOUT AND DESCRIPTION 4 INITIAL SETUP 5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 6 TROUBLE SHOOTING 7 DAILY CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1 INSTALLATION 1 1 Check to make sure that the following items are included This operation manual Scale x 1 Stainless steel platter cover x 1 Power adapter x 1 Contact your dealer if any items are missing 1 2 Insert the legs of the plastic platter carefully into the holes on top of the scale then place the stainless steel platter on top 1 3 Power the Scale a Insert one 9V battery into the battery pack underneath the scale or b Connect the power adapter Before plugging the power adapter into electricity outlet check to make sure that the input voltage of the power adapter matches the output voltage of the outlet If not do not plug in the adapter Contact your dealer immediately CAUTION When the power adapter is being used take the battery out from the battery pack Failure to do so may cause battery leak explosion or damage to the scale Do not use any rechargeable battery The scale does not recharge any battery 1 4 Retain the packing materials for future transportation use 2 SPECIFICATIONS
