1. 7 kogan Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Base Station KAVACXXROBB USER MANUAL IMPORTANT Please read this user manual before use and keep handy for future reference Warning Use product only as described in this manual Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in shock fire injury or the unit being damaged Attention Do not take apart any accessories including the remote control Only use replacement parts Or accessories provided or recommended by Kogan This product 1s designed for household use Do not use it in industrial surroundings or outdoors SAFETY NOTICE This product contains a rechargeable battery It 1s to be charged by the provided charging device This product can only be used with a DC24V 500mA adapter Do not use the appliance if any parts are damaged or defective This appliance 1s not intended to be used by persons including children with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lacking in experience of knowledge of the product unless they are being supervised and have received instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product Before connecting this product to the wall socket make sure that the main voltage is the same as that stated on the rating plate Keep the charger cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges Never use accessories from other produc

ERATION OF THE DOCKING STATION If the battery goes flat during the vacuuming process the cleaner will automatically locate the docking station so that the battery can be charged Qv Insert the adapter end into the DC socket on the docking station refer to the Automatic charging as shown earlier in the manual Take the cleaner and connect to the docking station The green light will flash while the device is charging and will stop when the battery 1s fully charged Attention when the dock station is charging your unit the battery icon will flash This just means that the dock station is charging and does NOT reflect battery capacity status It will flash all the time during charging and will keep flashing whether the battery is full or not e Auto Press the Auto button once and a sweeping icon will display which signifies the automatic cleaning system Press Auto once more to cancel the automatic cleaning system e Clock Setting current time Press the Clock button and then the hour icon will start to flash which you can set via the or buttons Press the Clock button again and the minute icon will start to flash which you can set via the or buttons Again press the Clock button and the day of the week can be set via the or buttons After completing the settings press the Clock button to confirm all settings Time Pre setting the vacuum time Press the Time button an
4. d then the hour icon will start to flash Set it via the or buttons Press the Time button again and the minute icon will start to flash which you can set via the or buttons After completing the time press Time again OFF will be shown on the display Press the button and ON will be shown on the display then press Time to complete the time function You can cancel the pre setting by cutting off the power Attention If the battery has not fully charged at the docking station or the automatic charging time 1s less than 5 hours but the pre setting time 1s reached the function will not work The pre set time should be more than 5 hours After finishing setting the docking station should not be powered off before the vacuum time If you have chosen the Time function please cancel the Auto function otherwise the Time function will not be workable It may happen that the vacuum cleaner does not find the docking station because of obstacles a flat battery or because of the complex conditions of working in a large area Please charge the vacuum cleaner on the docking station when setting the vacuum time REMOTE CONTROL PANEL Power Cleaning modes Direction button 1 Open the battery cover and insert replace the battery as shown in pic 1 2 Place the positive and negative poles correctly as shown in pic 2 3 Take out the battery 1f the remote will not be used f
5. e used on the first charge Connect the end of the adapter to the DC socket on the vacuum cleaner and it will be charged directly See picture below N f A Warning L e High voltage Danger of injury NS by electric shock You must have dry hands before use Once the battery 1s fully charged unplug the adapter from the socket Do not pull the power cord but instead grasp it by the plug to remove from the socket Then take the adapter from the vacuum cleaner Automatic Charging Firmly seat the docking station on an even surface against a wall There must be no walls or cavities in range of 3m from the front of the docking station and likewise 0 5m must be kept from along its sides The vacuum cleaner will not be able to locate the station if the infrared signal sensor is blocked or covered Insert the adapter end into the DC socket on the docking station see pic 1 A Warning High voltage Danger of injury by electric shock You must have dry hands before use First charging time 1s 8 hours then regular charging time should be 4 5 hours USING THE PRODUCT Before using pick up objects like clothing loose papers pull cords for blinds or curtains power cords and any fragile objects as they may entangle the cleaning brushes If the device passes over a power cord and drags 1t there 1s a chance that the object could call off a table or shelf e Ensure the battery is charged e Put the robot clea
6. ner in the room which is to be cleaned e Turn on the main power switch e Once the switch has been turned on the command buttons S M L will flash Press the button until they stop flashing If you press the L button during the flashing the device will search for the dock station and charge automatically Main power switch e To start the robot cleaner press one of the buttons S M L to choose the desired cleaning mode e To PAUSE the cleaning press one of the command buttons To resume cleaning press one of the command buttons again To turn the cleaning robot OFF press the main power switch There are 3 cleaning modes which are as follows Large L The robot cleans for 60 minutes and will keep running until the battery charge has gone weak If you use the docking station then the vacuum will charge automatically and then start working again This mode is suitable for large rooms Medium M The robot cleans for 30 minutes This 1s suitable for small rooms Small S The robot will clean for 4 minutes working in a space of 1 square meter This mode is suitable for spot cleaning in one area There are three cleaning systems as follows Side brush sweeps into corners and along edges Two rotating brushes pickup dirt hair and particles into the dustbin Vacuum power picks up the remaining fine dirt The cleaning robot works on all hard floors such as wood tiles marble short carpet etc OP
