1. PLEASE VERIFY THE FILL VOLUME AT THE START OF ANY PRODUCTION RUN Store Operating Parameters 1 After Setup amp Calibration are complete see Quick Start guides or User Manual access the Edit Menu x At the LOAD TARGET screen press tT In Automatic mode at the CYCLE COUNT SCREEN press Menu followed by 2 MODIFY Load Target screen Cycle Count screen 2 Scroll through the screens amp select SAVE Confirm selection press 1 YES 3 A Store location a is automatically generated To Store at that location press Enter To Store at a different location press Clear so that the store location no longer appears press Enter then repeat the Store process dg 3 Setup Pump 4 Select Tubing set Master Syringe Target adaptor amp liquid to fill MUST BE THE SAME AS ORIGINAL SETUP 5 Assemble prime and install tubing set see Quick Start guides or User Manual 6 Turn pump power ON switch on back plate Recall Operating Parameters 7 Inthe Main Menu select 2 RECALL SETUP 8 Select setup to recall Use the NumPad or Arrow keys to scroll through Store Locations amp press 1 RUN to select Settings are Port Mode Fill Volume Idle Time Cycle Count 9 Confirm master syringe is placed in correct port Press Enter 10 Place target syringe onto adaptor tip and hold firmly in place Calibrate Pump 12 Verify volume and adjust only2. if necessary otherwise continue to 16 below a Press Adjust button b ADJUST VOLUME Press 1 YES Enter c Enter exact Measured Fill Volume as observed Enter 4 terr a 10b 10c Fill an unused target oral dispenser with a production dose 9 above Confirm correct volume is achieved normally only one adjustment needed or redo Adjust calibration until correct d Next Screen is STORE SETUP 1 YES or 2 NO gt Press 2 NO Enter Calibration is stored automatically choosing store setup is for the overall program not the calibration YOUR PUMP IS NOW PRIMED CALIBRATED AND READY FOR REPEATED FILLING Auto Filling Settings 13 a Press to EDIT b Select 2 CYCLE MODE c SELECT MODE Press 2 AUTO Enter 16a 16b 16c d IDLE TIME Enter delay sec between fills Enter choice of 1 to 99 seconds e CYCLE COUNT Enter number of production fills Enter f EXIT Press 9 EXIT to exit EDIT function or Y and then 9 16d 16e 16f 14 Start production Place unused target syringe in oral adaptor and hold firmly in place Press START STOP to begin the filling process When the target oral dispenser is filled the cycle is completed remove it from the adaptor replace it with another unused target oral dispenser and hold firmly as the next cycle begins Verify the fill volume of t

Quick Start Precifill Pump Filling Oral Dispensers Possible Consumables Needed Tubing set see below Block holder ORAL Oral Adaptor luer slip for oral liquids 1 2 3 4 Pump set choice for production requirements Cat BX 3051 Precifill pump set large bore volumes over 5ml any viscous Master IV Syringe see below Cat BX 3052 Precifill pump set small bore volumes under 5ml any IV drugs Choose the Master Syringe to be used for this production Master Syringe must be BD luer lock IV Syringe Volume to be Filled Size of Master Syringe Port 0 1 mL to 2 7 mL 2 7 mL to 9 5 mL 9 5 mL to 999 mL Assemble tubing set attach Master Syringe remove S aa y white cap oral adaptor remove green cap and f anchor remove red cap Discard all caps and white gt paper wrap av Prime the tubing Place long tubing end into the bottom of liquid container Point oral adaptor end of tubing into the liquid container and draw back plunger on master syringe to expel air Repeat until tubing is filled with liquid and liquid is flowing out of the adaptor into the solution container Fully compress master syringe Note BX 3051 Tubing Set Prime Volume 31mL BX 3052 Tubing Set Prime Volume 8mL Turn pump power On back plate NE m odi i Install tube assembly in pump Raise blue cover and install master syringe into selected port table 2 above Syringe plunger and fing

5. er flanges on barrel must be inserted flat side down and securely into grooves Close cover Slide Block Holder onto appropriate post opposite the active port and thread the tubing with oral adaptor into grooves on Block Holder as shown below Set Block Holder away from the Master Syringe to remove stress on tubing and tighten the finger screws on the Block Holder and metal door until firm Do not over tighten Set Operating Parameters 7 Select No 1 NEW SETUP 8 Select the port being used table 2 above 1 3mL 2 30mL or 3 for 10mL Enter te 7 8 9 Select the operating mode 1 MANUAL Enter 10 Enter the drug volume required in cc Enter 11 Select the speed LOW MED or HI Low for viscous liquids Med or High for non viscous liquids Enter 9 10 11 12 Confirm master syringe is placed in correct port Press Enter 13 Place target oral dispenser into adaptor tip and hold firmly in place 14 Fill the target dispenser by pressing START while holdin 12 da ti 14 Calibrate Pump 15 Verify volume and adjust only if necessary otherwise continue to 16 below a Press Adjust button b ADJUST VOLUME Press 1 YES Enter c Enter exact Measured Fill Volume as observed Enter 15b 15c Fill an unused target oral dispenser with a production dose 14 above Confirm correct volume
