7. ipment should only be used by trained personnel Contact your Hill Rom representative in the event of any uncertainties or questions C 2014 Liko R amp D AB All Rights Reserved SlingGuard 450 slingbar e 7EN161113 Rev 1 2 www hill rom com www liko com VZCO Under no circumstances may the slingbar be modified In the event of questions please contact Hill Rom Attaching a sling to the SlingGuard 450 Slingbar e In order to attach the sling correctly to the patient and the slingbar always study the user manual for the sling to be used in that instance e Lift up the latches first attach the upper strap loops and then the leg support loops see fig 1 e The sling is correctly attached when the slingbar hangs in level see fig 2 e If the slingbar is not level see fig 3 read the user manual for the sling in use WARNING The sling strap loops should be attached to the slingbar hooks so that the slingbar latches safely prevent involuntary unhooking of the strap loops Before lifting always ensure that the sling s strap loops are correctly connected to the slingbar hooks when the sling straps are stretched but before the patient is lifted from the underlying surface WARNING WARNING Attach lifting accessories correctly so that the slingbar hangs level and all slingbar hooks take all the weight i when lifting RIGHT WRONG fig 2 i fig 3
