Dear Customer By purchasing our product you have proved that you do not accept any compromises in quality The Gabej range of shredders are a result of many years research and development This quality has been acquired by listening to users around the world and creating a product that matches their needs User Manual 1 If the machine is covered in a protective film please remove this before use 2 Before the first use make sure that the combs teeth that slot into the rollers are fully inserted 3 Gabej shredders can be manually operated or mechanically by means of a 5v screwdriver with a maximum of 200 RPM Using more powerful tools might lead to heavy damage of the machine If you are unsure of the RPM of your screwdriver please operate this by hand 4 Toensure along and uninterrupted service the machine needs to be regularly cleaned The rollers bushings and ball bearings require lubrication We recommend WD40 or any other oil spray Failing this olive oil can be successfully used to lubricate your Gabej shredder 5 Occasionally you may find need to adjust the combs a Turn the machine upside down b Loosen the two bottom screws c Make sure the combs are fully inserted if not adjust them accordingly d Tighten the screws e Make sure the combs are inserted evenly across the rollers f If you over tighten the screws this will increase friction and the machine will not operate smoothly 6 Ifyou feed too much materi2. al into the shredder the rollers might get jammed If this happens turn the rollers the opposite way for about 1 3 or of a full rotation and clean the surplus material Forcing too much material through your Gabej shredder will break it eventually Should you require any assistance then please contact us via PureLeaf Kind Regards
