Check brake lining wear Check and re tighten ball hitch and axle bolts Check wheel bolts lighting locks and tires Grease surge brake Lubricate other linkages light lubrication Lobster RUBBER PARTS Please not that all rubber components on Lobster exposed to weather and wind will over time fade For proper maintenance we recommend that a rubber and vinyl treatment be used regularly to maintain color and shine BRAKES Brakes require regular maintenance and adjustments We recommend that adjustments and repairs to be carried out by professionals please contact nearest Dealership WASHING amp CLEANING Aluminum requires hardly any maintenance but by washing your trailer reg ularly you will prolong its lifespan Wash the chassis in the same way as you wash a car Hose it down with water and then wash it using a soaked sponge or similar Regular car shampoo is sufficient for normal cleaning Washing the trailer after drives on salted roads is recommended TIRES amp WHEELS Lobster is supplied with Aluminum rims Remember to check tire pressure before loading and driving N B Max pressure 65 PSI Trailers are sometimes used only a few times a year Therefore it is rec ommended that the tire pressure is checked prior to driving to prevent wear on tires and that road safety is maintained STORAGE We recommend not parking the trailer with the parking brake on during longer storage

Instead the use of parking blocks is recommended The Lobster GP 20 can alternatively be store vertically Lobster ACCESSORIES Hard Top Maximum weight recommended on top of a Lobster Hard Top is 75 kg when placed so the weight is spread over the cross barriers Weights loaded exceeding 75 kg or 75 kg as a point load may damage and dent the aluminum plate Hard Top hinges Hard Top hinges should be checked regularly Repair or replace if dam aged Hard Top lock Hard Top locks are ABLOY Cylinder OF430C If the keys are lost please contact nearest ABLOY dealer for replacement Soft Top Clean the Soft Top regularly with a soft cloth to avoid stains If needed clean with a mild detergent Make sure to remove all soap residues with clean water Dry by wipe off with a clean cloth Side Mesh Inspect hinges regularly Repair or replace if damaged Cleaning Use a mild detergent when washing Do not use a strong detergent as this may cause damage to the material Rubber floor Cover Keep the rubber floor cover clean at all times to avoid damage on trailer cover and or load If needed wash with a mild detergent Let dry Washing As with regularly washing the Lobster by washing your accessories regu larly you prolong their lifespan Wash the Hard Top Net Panels and Rubber floor cover in the same way as you wash the Lobster by hosing it down with water and then wash it using a soaked sponge or sim

5. ad safety is maintained Please note max pressure 65 PSI Always consider total weight load weight nose weight and load distri bution every time when loading your trailer Lobster Nose weight Nose weight is the force with which the trailer s coupler presses down on the towing vehicle s ball hitch Nose weight shall not exceed 100 kg or the weight specified on the hitch coupler The nose weight at which a trailer best follows the towing vehicle varies between vehicle models However the average empirical value is be tween 50 and 80 kg Excessive nose weight can impair steering ability by lifting the front wheels Distribution of loads Distribute loads as evenly as possible on the trailer Its recommended to place heavy items above or just ahead of the axle Placing heavy objects at the front and additional heavy objects at the back will give the trailer a tendency to sway Overload Overload critically impairs safety and compromises trailer and vehicle road holding and steering ability Please note that the warranty is invalid if the trailer has been overloaded Loading open trailers Make sure to secure and stow loads in a way so that they cannot shift and impair driving characteristics come loose and damage property When loading lighter goods it s recommended that you secure the loads using cargo nets or ropes Using Net panels or a cage facilitates load securing Lobster Heavy good
