1. Turn the screw clockwise as viewed from the top of the rifle to increase the trigger pull force required A trigger adjustment tool is provided with the T C Dimension rifle FIGURE 29 Turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise to decrease the trigger pull force required After each adjustment with the chamber empty and the rifle pointed in a safe direction dry fire the rifle until the desired pull is achieved Do not attempt any other trigger adjustments When turning the adjustment screw once resistance is met do not force the screw to turn further in either direction DRY FIRING NOTE Be certain that the chamber is unloaded and the magazine is removed from the rifle Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction The Thompson Center Dimension rifle can be dry fired without damage to the firing pin or other components To dry fire cock the rifle by lifting the bolt handle fully and returning it to the closed position and then pulling the trigger NOTE REGARDING STOCK FINISH NAD CLEANING To help ensure that the ARMORSOFT coating on your Thompson Center Dimension rifle stock remains in good shape we suggest removing the stock from the barreled receiver when using bore solvents CAUTION Do not allow the following solvents to come in contact with the ARMORSOFTO coating as damage may occur Gunscrubber T17 foaming bore solvent Acetone cosmetic damage to the finish will result If you have further questions pleas

37. rd Depress and hold the bolt stop in and remove the bolt from the receiver FIGURES 38 amp 39 FIGURE 39 Note The bolt handle must be rotated down until the bolt handle touches the stock when withdrawing it Cosmetic damage to the stock may result if the bolt isn t rotated before it is withdrawn Step 2 Unlatch and remove the magazine from the rifle FIG URES 40 amp 41 FIGURE 41 CHANGING A BARREL CONT D Step 3 Remove the stock from the barreled receiver The take down assembly torque tool has a correctly sized Allen wrench for this task There are two bolts that need to be removed one in front of the magazine well and one behind the trigger guard FIG URES 42 amp 43 The stock assembly bolts are designed not to be completely removed from the stock Loosen the bolts until the receiver comes free of the stock Break these bolts free using the leverage provided by the torque wrench then spin them out with the hex end of the v block wrench Step 4 Remove the magazine adapter from the stock if you are switching to a different letter series of magazine FIGURE 44 Install the replacement adapter into the stock at this point as shown making certain that the letter code matches that of the other parts being changed to Step 5 Align and thread the v block takedown assembly tool into the receiver as shown FIG URE 45 until the wrench is snug Insert the shaft of the gear drive
