FreeForm Installation Page 39 FileDirector Installation Guide WebServer Installation The FileDirector WebServer installation will create a virtual directory for WebServer on the selected web site of the server and installs the necessary applications and files within the virtual directory Installation To start the installation for 32bit server operating systems run FileDirector Web Setup msi from the FileDirector installation CD For 64bit operating systems run FileDirector Web Setup x64 msi The installation displays a welcome window After clicking the Next button the Installation Address screen is displayed After setting the options described below click the Next button to install WebServer application Site The web site FileDirector will be installed to by default is the default web Virtual Directory This is the name of the virtual directory representing WebServer in IIS If for example the web address would be www companyname com access to FileDirector would be possible using www companyname comf fileDirector web if the default setting is used Application Pool Select the appropriate application pool to use with WebServer This can be the default pool or one specifically created for WebServer This setting can be changed after installation using Internet services Manager Pleases see the IIS Configuration chapter for the application pool settings Disk Cost Disk cost opens an information window which
