4. fitted with any additional accessories This user manual 1 4 MAINTENANCE OF VELA TANGO We recommend that you have your VELA Tango serviced once a year to identify any 4 defective or worn parts However removable parts should regularly checked and tightened When adjustments have been made then make sure to tighten up It is important to fasten screws on the chair on a regular basis All screws which secure the accessories have to be checked at least once month Further it is important to be aware of any indications of beginning faults on the frame PVC parts and the like The gasspring functions without any maintenance Do not expose the gasspring to pressure high temperatures or perforation Wheels Wheels should be regularly checked and cleaned of any fluff etc Base Wash regularly with a mild solution of lukewarm water and pH neutral washing up liquid Upholstery The fabric is made of polyester which only needs to be vacuumed occasionally and wiped with a cloth rinsed in clean water and tightly wrung Make sure to remove any stains as quickly as possible Always use a moist clean white cotton cloth For more stubborn stains use a bit of mild washing up liquid Do not use any cleaning materials containing chlorine or methylated spirit Any incontinence cover should be machine washed on a gentle cycle 1 5 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS To ensure correct use of the VELA Tango please note the following TRANSPORTATION
5. peration This warranty does not cover damage caused by a carrier of transportation of the product alterations made by owner or customers own material This warranty is based upon a single 8 hour shift usage only If there is a defect within the warranty period you shall send a written notice of the defect to VELA s US partner Ri LLC Ri LLC and VELA will decide if the defect is to be repaired or replaced by a new product Please read the user manual carefully for information on correct maintenance of the product REPAIR If there is a fault on your chair you should contact your dealer at once Defective chairs should not be used If your chair needs reconditioning or repair only original VELA parts must be used Accessories or available soare parts which are broken can be forwarded to VELA for repair If fault in the fundamental parts the whole chair need to be returned to VELA for repair R82 will not be held responsible for damage or injury caused by use of non original parts or repairs made by a non authorized VELA person 1 3 UNPACKING THE CHAIR VELA Tango 15 supplied in cardboard packaging which is developed and produced to ensure the least possible impact on the environment and with focus on ease of use In case of defects or transport damage to the chair please contact VELA immediately You must not try to repair any damage yourself or start using the chair The box in which the chair was supplied should contain VELA Tango
