Locate your reverse light by shifting the gear to reverse position when car power is on Remove the tail light cover to access the reverse light Locate the wiring behind the reverse light You may wish to remove the reverse light globe holder by carefully twisting while pulling then check that the removed globe glows Now locate the positive and negative wires to this globe a test light or voltmeter may be used A If you are not sure of the power wires please contact your vehicle manufacturer or reference a wiring diagram in your vehicle manual 10 Switch the car power to Lock position and shift the gear to P position Use a plier to squeeze the metal tabs of the Scotchlok connectors D and ensure a solid connection Then snap the plastic cap over 11 Connecting the power cables Take the open wire ends of this main cable C and connect them to the power wires of your reverse light located in the previous step Using the Scotchlok connectors D connect the red wire to the reverse light s positive wire and connect the black wire to the reverse light s negative wire black color Step amp Install camera B Remove your license plate and check whether there is a hole that allows the camera cable to go through Please see the above two positions that possibly exist in many cars Remove part of the interior panel of the trunk to ensure the hole you find in the last step allow
