3. 3 3 2 Cancel button Block Buddy window Click the Cancel button if you decide not to unblock a buddy from your contacts list What does blocking a buddy mean Blocking a buddy means that you can no longer send instant messages to that buddy and that contact cannot receive instant messages from you You will know if the buddy Is blocked when you try to send an instant message to that contact you will see a notification saying Error Your message could not be sent because the recipient is not logged in How do I unblock a buddy If the buddy is already blocked from your buddy list you can choose to Unblock that buddy by clicking the Block buddy icon If you click the Block buddy icon the Block buddy window will appear asking if you are sure you want to unblock your buddy The Block buddy window looks like this Fig 29 unblock buddy window Block Buddy RE are LIL Sure TU odimcoo Ok Cancel V IM User Manual 3 3 3 Ok button Unblock Buddy window Click the Ok button to unblock the buddy from the buddylist After clicking the Ok button you will notice that the icon beside the buddy name will change back to the normal icon This means that your buddy has been successfully unblocked from the buddylist 3 3 4 Cancel button Unblock Buddy window Click the Cancel button if you decide not to unblock a buddy from your contacts list 3 4 Buddy nam
