2. remove any parts from the battery terminals Before disposal protect exposed terminals Never look directly into the light 2015 Wagan Corporation All Rights Reserved Wagan and wagan com are trademarks used by Wagan Corporation EZ Grip Halogen Spotlight by Wagan Tech Operation Use the power switch to turn on the light To use the pistol grip twist the pistol grip into position while pushing in the handle rotation lock Charging the Battery The internal battery will need to be initially charged for approximately 2 hours before first use To charge using the 110V AC power adapter plug the adapter into a standard compatible wall socket Attach the other end to the power input socket of the spotlight To charge using the DC adapter insert the cigarette plug into the car s cigarette lighter socket Attach the other end to the power input socket of the spotlight Only recharge the battery with the included adapters Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 4 C or above 40 C The spotlight should be kept fully charged when not in use If the spotlight is to be stored away then it should be recharged every 6 8 weeks Always ensure the power switch is in the OFF position when not in use If the charge is very low the battery will take approximately 6 8 hours to reach maximum capacity when using the supplied adapter However a 4 hour charge will provide a usable amount of charge It is advisable to recharge t

6. he spotlight after each use The battery does not need to be fully depleted before recharging The lifespan of the battery is dependent on how well it is treated the more it is used the longer it should last It is not possible to predict how long the battery will last but approximately 40 charge and discharge cycles should be expected from a well maintained battery TE C H User s Manual Please read before using this equipment RD the Halogen Bulb Unscrew the retaining ring around the lens e Remove the lens e Pull out the reflective lens cone enabling access to the bulb e Disconnect the spade connector e Unclip the spring clip e Pull out the bulb IMPORTANT Do not touch the glass of the bulb handle by the base only e f necessary clean glass with methylated spirits and a soft cloth Battery Replacement amp Removal e The lead acid battery in this spotlight has a normal service life of many years When the battery does expire it should be removed from the spotlight for recycling Please contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information e To access the battery unscrew the retaining ring around the lens e Underneath is a bracing plate with four corner screws Remove these screws e Remove battery and switch assembly from flashlight housing e Slide back plastic protectors from battery terminals e Use the screwdriver to depress the tabs on the battery terminals The wires
