3. e sensor cassette before it has expired will result in the prema ture expiration of the sensor cassette Oo 6 months Peristaltic Pump Kit Replacement Open the printer cover Remove the pump by grasping the sides and pulling straight up Ay Carefully remove pump seals with tweezers or hemostats Properly dispose of expired pump and pump seals Rotate the pump shaft until the flat edge aligns with the new pump roller Firmly press the pump down onto the shaft Next press down on the pump roller to finalize installation Open the SMC and remove the I O port seals with hemostats or tweezers Properly dispose of the expired seals 10 Insert the new seals with the round side up and press firmly into place 11 Refer to the provided insert sheet for additional instructions Fluid Pack Replacement Remove expired pack and replace protective cap Press lt Install Pack gt on the display a Remove the protective cap from the new pack Insert new pack into fluid pack receptacle After calibration run any two levels of OPTI check control material to complete installation 6 Refer to the provided insert sheet for additional instructions en a et ee Gas Bottle Replacement 1 Remove expired gas bottle by turning counter clockwise P rog ram min g Au to Q C 2 Press lt Install Gas gt on the display 3 Swipe the gas bottle barcode located on the provided insert sheet and remove gas bottle cap 1 Press lt QC Manager gt t

5. o enter the QC menu 4 Insert gas bottle into the instrument and turn clockwise to tighten 2 Select lt Auto QC gt under the setup heading 5 When prompted New Gas Bottle reply Yes if bottle is new 3 At the first time row press lt Edit gt 6 Ifthe gas bottle is used reply No and enter the number of weeks in use 4 Enter the scheduled time for this QC measurement and press 7 Refer to the provided insert sheet for additional instructions lt OK gt 5 Now select the levels to be run by checking the appropriate level s 6 Continue by moving to the next row and following the above steps 7 To perform auto QC on Saturday or Sunday check the cor responding box 8 When complete press lt Save gt to save the changes to memory 9 Press lt Home gt when finished to return to the ready screen
