3. and a double acting grease pump The grease is sucked into the pump tube via the bottom valve When the piston moves upwards grease is feeded into the pump tube The relationship between the air piston and the pump piston determins the ratio of the pump Pump ratio is 58 1 the theoretical grease pressure will be 58 times to the air pressure when the pump stalls out The air is exhausted from the pump via a Sound attenuator Installation Operation 1 To achieve long pump life we recommend that filter regulator to be installed prior to the air inlet of the pump 2 Remove the protective packaging from the pump and also the protective plugs 3 Fit the 2 pump adaptor firmly on to the drum cover 4 Mount the pump into the pump adaptor and lock into position 5 Fit and secure the outlet hose 6 Fit and secure the air inlet hose slowly increase the air pressure letting the pump Slowly build up grease pressure 7 Ensure there are no leaks either on the air inlet or at the grease outlet 8 Slowly increase the air pressure to optimum working pressure Warning The maximum permitted air pressure is 10bar do not exceed this limit Service Before any servicework is carried out the compressed air must be turned off to the pump or the air coupling disconnected And the fluid outled must be depressurized completely Maintenance 1 Before any service work is carried out the compressed air must be turned off to the pump or the air coupli

6. de v tska vid reng rning av pumpdelar Om vattenbaserad v tska anv nds m ste delarna torkas omedelbart f r att f rhindra att korrosion uppkommer Deklaration om verenst mmelse Vi deklarerar h rmed att 58 1 pumparna som beskrivs i denna manual r tillverkade i verensst mmelse med EC direktivet 89 392 EEC samt till gg 91 398 EEC 93 44 EEC och 93 68 EEC 2459019 08 03 Eurolube Equipment AB SERVICE MANUAL 25755 56 57 Product safety instructions 1 The pump is intended for petroleum based grease It may NOT be used for other purposes or for pumping gasoline or other explosive liquids 2 Check that all components used are suitable for the operating pressure of the system 3 Do not use higher pressure than required for the satisfactory functioning of the system 4 Before a system is put into operation it is recommended that the system be pressurized to 1 3 times max working pressure 5 Before work is undertaken on the pump the compressed air should be disconnected from the pump and the whole system should then be depressurized 6 Check all components thorughly for damage and leakage 7 Ensure that the compressed air is disconnected from the pump and the system is depressurized when system is not in use i e overnight or during longer shut down periods as there is always a risk of hoses bursting or pipework leaking etc General The pump is made up of two main parts An air operated two way piston air motor

8. ng disconnected And the grease outlet must be depressurized completely 2 Clean the air filter remove all pollutants including condensed water 3 Check system for any air or fluid leaks 4 Always keep the equipment clean and remove foreign objects ensure no pollutants enter the barrel as these will be pumped into the system 5 When changing the barrel make sure the pump remains clean Do not put on to floor otherwise the grease will become polluted 6 When depressurizing the system or removing the outlet hose from the pump ensure there is a container available to drain the excess oil into Service 1 For your personal safety ensure the air is disconnected from the pump and the fluid discharge is depressurized before any service is carried out Be cautious when repressurizing the system after any service work is carried out 2 During service procedures it is important to avoid any scratching or any other damage to gasket or bearings surfaces Keep tools and benches clean Be extremely cautious when assembling or dismantling V packings and O rings Exchange all worn or damaged parts no matter how slightly damaged they seem 3 Clean and grease all gasket bearing surfaces including O rings and gaskets with teflon grease when reassembling pump 4 Try to use paraffin to clean pump parts If water based cleaners are used wipe parts clean amp dry immediately to avoid corrosion Declaration of conformity We hereby declare that the 5

13. website www eurolube com Sh EUROLUBE SERVICE MANUAL 25755 56 57 Repair reparation 1 Remove pump tube demontera pumpror 1 Attach the pump tube to a vice and unthread the air motor from the suction tube 44 and pull out the air motor until the pin 34 get visible Fig 4 3 Remove the pin 43 and unthread the rod until it is loosened Fig 5 1 Satt fast pumproret i ett skruvstycke demontera luftmotor fran pumpror 44 och skruva av luftmotor tills laspinne 34 blir synlig Fig 4 2 Avlangsna laspinne 43 och skruva bort kolvstangen helt Fig 5 2 Air valve luftventil 1 Unthread the plug 23 and remove the circlip 13 the muffler 14 and the muffler support 15 2 Remove the distributor axle 21 fig 6 3 Unthread the screw 8 completely and remove the distributor bushing 16 carefully 4 Lubricate the new distributor bushing with its O rings insert it from the side of the plug 23 and hold something to stop it at the side of the muffler 14 Be very careful so that the bushing does not get damaged 5 Assemble the air valve in reverse order Skruva bort plugg 23 och ta bort lasring 13 samt ljudd mpare 14 och h llaren 15 Avlagsna ventilaxel 21 fig 6 Ta bort skruv 8 helt och avl gsna ventilhylsa f rsiktigt 16 Fetta in den nya ventilhylsan med O ringar for in den fran pluggsidan 23 tills den ar i niv med ljudamparens placering 14 Var forsiktig sa att
