Operation in alarm condition Upon switching on the detector for the first time or when the device is switched on after a long period more than 2 weeks without power the sensor takes 7 to 10 days to acquire its steady physical chemical cha racteristics and thus a constant level of sensitivity It is therefore strongly recommended to make sure that this period of conditioning has pas sed before carrying out any checks on the activation level On connecting the detector the green led will flash for 2 minutes approx known as reactivation period during this time the detector cannot test the quantity of gas present in the environment When the concentration of gas in the air exceeds the threshold the detector starts working by switching on the red led After 2 seconds from the led red switch on the built in intermittent sound alarm starts If during this time the concentration of gas falls below the detection threshold the gas detector alarm switches off and the delay is comple tely reset The sound alarm remains on for all the duration of the alarm Afterwards after 20 seconds from the activation of the sound alarm the alarm relay is activated too The alarm relay contacts can also control solenoid valves NO or NC or visual sound alarms INSTALLATION For the instructions of the following Mounting Overall dimensions Where installing the device Positioning Areas to be avoided Refer to the instructions pag

19. ivelatore posto al piano terreno non pu garantire la rivelazione di perdite di gas Metano ai piani superiori Un rivelatore installato al primo piano non pu rivelare perdite che avvengono al piano terreno o al secondo piano se una quantit suffi ciente di gas non raggiunge il rivelatore Una porta chiusa impedisce al gas di raggiungere un rivelatore posto dall altra parte della porta Per questi motivi il rivelatore deve essere installato in prossimit del l apparecchio a gas Altri accorgimenti Occorre inoltre verificare che gli allarmi acustici possano essere uditi da tutti gli occupanti dell appartamento E essenziale accertarsi che il rivelatore scelto sia adatto al tipo di gas utilizzato rispettivamente Metano o GPL e che la posizione in cui installato sia corretta In caso contrario potrebbe rivelare la presenza del gas dopo che il limi 10 te inferiore d esplosivit stato raggiunto Se si utilizzano sia Metano che GPL si deve installare un rivelatore per ciascun tipo rivelatori sono progettati per gas specifici Metano e GPL solamen te Non fate affidamento su di essi per rivelare altri tipi di gas All atto dell alimentazione attendere almeno 2 minuti prima di fare prove Non eseguire prove utilizzando l apertura dei rubinetti del Gas ATTENZIONE In caso di allarme 1 Spegnere tutte le fiamme libere 2 Chiudere il rubinetto del contatore del gas o della bombola
