How To Replace Filter WARNING It is extremely important that the unit be unplugged The Zuvo Water Filtration System contains a high intensity ultraviolet UV light that can damage tissues in the eye The UV light cannot travel through the plastic housing However removing the filter requires that the top cap be removed exposing the lamp Do not proceed without unplugging the unit For the filter to be removed the filter and all internal seals must be wet Do not attempt to remove a dry filter Doing so may result in breakage of the UV lamp a Unplug Unit Always unplug unit before opening the top cap Failure to do so could result in exposure to ultraviolet light which is harmful to eyes 2 Pull both clamps upwardly and evenly zuvo 3 Pull both locking tabs outward Page 1 4 Pull both locking tabs down 5 Rotate top cap to expose filter cover 6 Pull out filter by pulling straight up 7 Prior to installing new filter wet lower O ring with water to allow the filter to slide on easier and then simply reverse the above steps to re seal the unit 8 Flush the system with cold tap water according to the operating instructions in this manual before use Never flush or operate the unit with hot water Para reemplazar el filtro ADVERTENCIA Es de suma importancia que la unidad se encuentre desenchufada Sistema contiene la luz ultravioleta UV de alta intensidad que2. puede da ar los tejidos oculares La luz UV no puede pasar a trav s del contenedor de pl stico Sin embargo para retirar el filtro es necesario quitar la tapa superior exponiendo la l mpara No contin e sin desenchufar la unidad Para retirar el filtro y todos los cierres herm ticos deben estar mojados No intente retirar un filtro que no est mojado Al hacerlo puede quebrar el vidrio 1 Desenchufar la unidad Siempre desenchufe la unidad antes de abrir la tapa superior Si no lo hace puede exponerse a la luz ultravioleta perjudicial para los ojos 2 Tire las abrazaderas hacia arriba y de manera uniforme zuVo 3 Empuje las presillas de seguridad hacia afuera Page 2 4 Empuje las presillas de seguridad hacia abajo 5 Rote la tapa superior para exponer el cobertor del filtro 6 Saque el filtro tirando ls hacia arriba Zu A 7 Antes de instalar el nuevo filtro moje la junta t rica inferior con agua para permitir que el filtro se deslice m s f cilmente y luego simplemente invierta los pasos de arriba para cerrar la unidad nuevamente 8 Enjuague el sistema con agua fr a del grifo de acuerdo a las instrucciones de operaci n en este manual antes de usar No enjuague ni ponga en funcionamiento la unidad con agua caliente
